HSBC, Marketnode and UOB partner to explore digital wealth management products
HSBC, Marketnode and UOB today announced a collaboration to jointly build out digital market infrastructure for wealth management products, spanning issuance, distribution and asset servicing on distributed ledger technology (DLT).
The collaboration will see the three institutions design and test workflows for structured products and other wealth instruments, aiming to reduce settlement times, improve transparency for distributors, and widen access for private banking and wealth clients across Asia-Pacific.
This builds on the institutions' earlier participation together in MAS-led digital asset initiatives, and reflects continued industry momentum toward native digital issuance for wealth and structured products in the region.
