SGX, HSBC, and Temasek Complete Olam Digital Bond Pilot in Asia

SGX, HSBC, and Temasek complete Olam digital bond pilot in Asia
Singapore Exchange (SGX Group), HSBC, and Temasek today announced the successful completion of a pilot digital bond issuance for Olam International, marking one of the earliest end-to-end digital bond transactions in Asia's capital markets.
The pilot streamlined the bond issuance process, digitalising key steps across issuance, settlement, and asset servicing, and demonstrating the potential of distributed ledger technology to reduce operational friction in fixed income markets.
The success of the Olam pilot informed the subsequent development of the digital market infrastructure that would later become Marketnode, jointly backed by SGX Group and Temasek.
